Sadly, we have already received calls from owners of new leaky homes. They serve as a reminder that as a prospective purchaser you should always do your due diligence when considering buying any home; new or not. As emotional as buying a home can be, you need to consider the fact that not all involved will have your best interest at heart. We highly recommend a qualified building surveyor who can do a thorough examination of the home, let you know the actual condition of the home, the risks involved, and an estimated cost to repair any issues.
